We have been accustomed to read many reading passages on internet, such as journals, articles, blog posts and soon. But have ever thought that they have a characteristic which distinguishes them from other reading passages which we usually find while reading books? Yes, it has a characteristic, and it is called web directory. Maybe most of people, including me, which is only an ordinary college student, don’t really understand about that terminology. It sounds unfamiliar in our ears. People who usually use internet to market their product maybe might understand this more clearly than us, because web directory can be used by most people to get more profits in driving their business.
So, what is actually web directory? According to Wikipedia, web directory is a directory on the World Wide Web which specializes linking to other web sites and categorizing those links. It is also usually called by link directory. Because of the benefits it provides, web directory mostly used by many marketing companies to socialize their products to the world. This kind of web directory usage can be called as business web directory. As we all know that internet has almost no limitation. It can be accessed by anyone, in anywhere, at anytime. No wander if it becomes the most beneficial means in marketing some business. Can you imagine? While a Japan Company’ staff of its marketing department uploads information about his robots, for example, all internet users throughout the world are ready to access it in just a couple minutes. It’s amazing, isn’t it?? They don’t have to go other parts of world to do it. Just sit in front of their computer, making some ideas, upload it, and then the whole world will get what’s on your head. What a blessing!!
